Beyond the Horizon

Intro[]

Beyond the Horizon is a special event on a temporary server, in which alliances from around the world can join and compete for ranking point rewards. It is similar to The Outer Realms event, but this event is newer. The first instance of this event came out on October 25, 2019. All castle lords must be at least level 30 and in an alliance to participate. Leaving and joining an alliance during the event prevents you from participating, unless you've already joined the event. Starting from August 2023, the rewards are changed.

Layout[]

The event takes place on a server world called the "Tangled Wilderness", a dense jungle inhabited by natives and currently occupied by alliances fighting each other for influence. Currently there are two layouts active in this event.

#1[]

In this model, all players, cultist shrines, Royal Towers, Capitals, and City States are in a fixed position, and there is a room which contains 20 royal towers and 61 city states, and capitals which player can occupy city states, attack capitals in a room. Castles and NPCs are outside the room between this. This model has more city states due to this model.

#2[]

In this model, all players, cultist shrines, Royal Towers, Capitals, and City States are spreads all along maps, but larger room. The position of the city state spreading all maps. However, city states is very limited due to spreads and limitation of rooms. Royal towers are spread all along maps, and Cultist Shrines are further than in close model. Keep in your mind city states and observation towers resets every day, and disappear every day from east to west sometimes even it's limited.

Entering the Server[]

Unlike joining the Outer Realms, there are more complex rules in terms of getting into the server. Since this is an alliance-based event, the first person to join from your alliance will be the leader of the Horizon Alliance (HA), and control the capital. Horizon Alliances in the server cap at 22 members, so the 23rd and 45th person from your alliance become leaders of the 2nd and 3rd Horizon Alliances, respectively. Since leaders have a big responsibility in the game, it is advised that the 2nd and 3rd leaders are chosen smartly. All that being said, the last 5 members in a 65-man alliance will be placed into an Horizon Alliance that contains just the 5 of them. You have only 2 days to registration to this event. After 2 days, the registration closed and any members who did not join cannot join again until next event. There are 4 available packages to enter this event. There are:

  • Pioneer's Outpost (Free)
  • Emperor's Palace (400000 Rubies)
  • Royal Keep (19999 Rubies)
  • Battalion's Keep (19999 Rubies)

Mechanics[]

No Friends[]

Immediately when castle lords join the server, the diplomacy with every alliance in the event is set to War. The status cannot be changed permanently.

Living Jungle[]

The Tangled Wilderness is alive and dangerous. With each passing day of the event, the jungle becomes more dense with Trees and choked with vines. This mechanic plays a factor in the usefulness of Observation Towers.

Influence[]

All Horizon Alliances are fighting for the most alliance Influence by the end of the event. Influence is found primarily in City States, but can also be taken from enemy castles and enemy Alliance Capitals. At the end of each day, Influence in players' castles are transferred to the alliance capital, and added to individual.

Locations[]

Alliance Capitals (Capitals)[]

Belonging to their respective Horizon Alliances, the Capitals harbor all the Influence that members have collected. They can be attacked by enemies who want to steal Influence. Changing the leader of alliance won't change the owner of capital. The first member of the alliance always control a capital regardless titles (Leader, Deputy, War Marshal, Treasurer, Diplomat, Recruiter, General, Sergeant, Member, and Novice).

City States[]

These are locations that a player must conquer and hold. Successfully capturing them gets you Influence over the span of up to 8 hours. During that time, Influence is transferred from the Cities to your castle. After 8 hours, the City disappears and your troops return instantly, and you gain 100000 Influences. Every alliance has only maximum 5 of all members, and each player can only have 1 city state. You can reduce city states occupation time by paying 2500 Rubies for reduce 25%, following 5000 Rubies for reduce 75% from current time between occupation. You can surrender city states, but you won't get anything, same like Outpost function too.

Observation Towers (OT)[]

These are buildings that a player must conquer and hold. Successfully capturing them provides bonuses when attacking city states or capitals. However, as the game progresses, they become useless due to the Living Jungle. OT's will eventually disappear from the map and return your troops, and resets everyday. Every alliance has only maximum 5 of all members.

Cultist Shrines[]

The most common occurrence on the map, these are places that players can attack for rewards and experience. Like the NPC Towers back home, the more you defeat them, the higher their level and the better the rewards. Level 40 is maximum for the shrine. The defenders of every level is different, and is leveled up after you defeat it. For defeating a shrine you are doing a quest, where you get more XP(experience points), wood and stone. With higher levels of Cultist Shrines there are higher rewards from quests.

Outposts[]

Like a regular map from origin server and Outer Realms, Beyond the Horizon also has an outposts too. The function such as same as in origin server.
