Stage 1 Robber Baron

A levels 1-10 Robber Baron Castle in the world map

All Robber Baron Castles on this page have 20% wall and 20% gate defense. The robber captain at each castle gives a +15% melee and +15% ranged bonus to the defending troops, except for the level 10 captain which gives a +19% melee and +19% ranged bonus to the defenders. This information is also given at the top of each section, as is the information about them. Attacks can be achieved with fewer troops at the cost of less loot. These attacks are marked. All attacks have been double-checked with a commander with no items to guarantee the outcome. However, some small bugs in the game may give you one or two losses when equipping your commander. You may be able to get away with fewer troops if your commander is highly equipped, e.g. in theory, +10% attack for melee means you could reduce 11 Ths to 10 Ths but this has not been checked. Where attack tools are indicated these can be reduced by the appropriate bonus on your commander. E.g. for each -10% wall defense on your commander you can use one fewer ladders per wall.

The Robber Baron icon (levels 1-10) on the map shows a basic arch topped tower surrounded by spears. 20 attacks are needed to beat levels 1-10.

Due to a bug in the game, if you use a commander that has a ranged bonus but not a melee bonus you will lose 1 Ths on the left flank. Send 10 Ths instead to lose -.

Ladd's are slow and expensive to make when you are building heavily. I prefer to add a Sp in first wave to use up Tp, it's just 30 coins and ready in 20 seconds.

Note: If you have only troops that you would prefer to keep alive (ruby troops), then instead of having them in the front, you can place them on the right, that way they can stay alive to fight at the courtyard rather than suiciding.
