The Two-handed Swordsman is a powerful melee attacker that is used to overpower enemy defenses with less casualties at one's army. Although it requires a long time to recruit, its attack power is good enough to take down ranged defenders within the castle. The other unit that is suitable for melee troops is its counterpart, the Heavy Crossbowman.
Other than recruiting, this unit can also be acquired by:
- Collecting your login bonus.
- Finishing missions from the mercenary post.
- Finishing quests in your quest book.
- Completing daily tasks (often collected as a third reward)
- Collecting a gift every week based on the honor points you've accumulated.
Along with other basic units, previously it can upgrade to its veteran counterpart once researched at the research tower. However, after April Update 2022, this process has been changed and required to have Barracks Level 6 instead.
Its recruitment cost can also be reduced by 30% by reaching the title Prince. However, their glory amount must be at or higher than its necessary amount in order to maintain its effect.
